Getting grief of a .RAR file!

Last night i BT'd some TomTom go maps & stuff for my old man, it's in a .RAR file showing 3.6 GB of info in it but when i open it with WinAce it's showing empty

I'm not a big user of .RAR's or winace, so could someone please tell me what's going on OR what i'm doing wrong? Usually i just double click the file & it opens in Winace then i extract the files to where i want them.

Any help much appreciated as me old mans buggin' me like f00k for the maps of europe

Can only think of giving it a try with winrar.

I always use winrar and have never had a prob opening .rar files.

I can only suggest that you check the file its being extracted to to make sure that it hasnt changed the destination directory of where files are being extracted to and to view all types of files.

i use winace and have had this problem before! - sometimes winace just dosn't like .rar files

using winrar should open it!
