Traktor users..

I'm thinking of buying a laptop and was wondering if anyone here uses traktor on one cause you need a multi channel sound card to run it right and I'm sure laptops don't have multi channel sound cards.... Any info grateful

Cheers

Send a message via MSN to Dj Britalian
you will need a breakout box fella, i think they have 2 in's & 2 out's & midi ports etc,

i think the basic ones are like the soundblaster audigy or something like that,

Yeah but you need a line and line out (1 for headphones 1 for speakers) e.g multichannel soundcard, not to sure just thought laptops have only one sound output...

You need to set up as follows :
Main L/R channels for the playback
Rear L/R channels for the cueing shizz.
Personally I would go for an external usb soundblaster job for cheapness and will give you the outputs/inputs you need.
