dvd/cd writer fuzz

last week the dvd/cd writer would not burn mp3 to make an audio cd, this week i took a deep breath and blow into the writer when it was open and now it burns to audio cd.

is it possible to give the writer a more thorough clean inside?

just make sure the area of your hdd is dusted an cleaned regularly
