outlook express

someones trying to send me an audio file thats to big.
when I open my outlook express I get the usual receiving mail tray icon appearing but after a min or so I keep getting an error message saying (your pop3 server as not responed in 60 seconds would you like to wait another 60 seconds y/n.) and when I click yes the same thing keeps happing I can't read my other messages because of it
can anyone please help me with this

log onto your mailbox using the webmail thing off your ISP and delete it off there...

go to their website and theyll probs have a webmail link
