Cheers for that but it only lets you do 5 minutes of audio for free and the sound quality was poo once converted

Is there a CD burner on Winamp that will do it?

Open Nero & cancel new compilation, goto the top & choose extras/encode files & it should let you import the mp4, save it as a wav & mp3 it with Soundforge.

http://www.imtoo.com/wma-mp3-converter.html

converts just about everything, the free trial limits you to 5 files being converted in one session, after you have converted 5 close it down reopen and do another 5, the trial never runs out so no need to ever purchase it.

lot of sound quality options in settings tab, i find setting it on high gives you high quality but still give you fast conversion times.

saves messing about, just drag the file into it convert the ma4 to mp3 and job done.
