creating an (*inf) file ,help please on how to do it!

im trying to create a file that a specific programme requires ,i can get the info into a notepad file but i need to turn it into an (*inf) file can anyone help?

just rename the file extension to .inf instead of .txt
eg: blahblah.inf instead of blahblah.txt

if you cant see the file extension goto toolz/folderoptions/view
then untick hide extensions of known file types
