Bulldog 8 Mb? Anyone got it?

Have just signed up for this as i am getting pissed off with NTL's crap ssssssllllooooowwwwww (supposedly) 1mb service

Just wondered who else on here used Bulldog & how they found the service? Was connection trouble free? Is it worth / value for money (Is only £3.50 p/m more than NTL though?)

Any views appreciated

I've got it, and it's fine. Real speed for me is a max download of about 730 kbps which is good enough

Never had any downtime on it, customer service has (shockingly) been good, recommended.

Having said that I'm moving soon and will be signing up for www.bethere.co.uk 24meg bad boy service.

Little bit of trouble getting set up because of bungling BT engineers, but once on never had any trouble at all touch wood, excellent value aswell....

Was supposed to be set up today but.........Broadband aint working & phone only works if adsl cable aint plugged into the filter Tech help says broadband can take up to midnight to activate....so why did they bother texting me at 2.30 to say 'you are now active' the cnuts!

Good job i did not cancel NTL!
