Which Wireless

Im after one of these funky wireless systems at home.... Im gonna be having just my laptop and a desktop pc on a 2mb speed. But theres that many to choose from different speeds, makes, range, im just confused. Do i need a super duper mimo long range system for just at home on 2mb or not?

If anyone has one can they let me have some advice... Cheers

My one - http://www.misco.co.uk/productinform...20bundle.h tm

This is much, much faster than your broadband connction so the speed of that isn't really an issue, the speed of your wireless network will only really come into play when you're transferring large files or streaming video between different devices on the network.

Unless you're doing that big time I'd ignore the "n" type standard if I were you and stick with something like this on the G.

My network is the same as your proposed by the way, the girlfriend has the card in her lappy and I bought a PCI one for my desktop.

'ow big's your 'ouse?

Like I say mine works magic through three concrete walls one of which is tiled, to my desktop. And it works to the girlfriends lappy when she's outside in the garden.

Stop worrying and just buy one.
