you may need to check that your dvd writer is able to write this format.

Sure Nero will do it, but might be worth checking.

Yeah mate ive got nero and alcohol 120%, but none of em worked for me, unless im doing summat wrong. Firstlt i used mp3toolz to convert cdg to bin and cue then burned with bouth programs. The sound comes through fine its just the lyrics on screen, which dont come on.... any clues

Did you check whether your DVD Writer can write these files/disks ?

there is a method to convert these disks to burn with other software, i can look into it if you need help eetc..

also check whether the dvd/cd player you are using can actually play yhese files (if it can't then all you will hear is the music - no lryics etc).

If your still stuck let me know what writer you have and also what you intend to play these disks on.

Hi mate thanks for getting back i tried using this method which i thought might work but still no joy... same prob still sound but no lyrics..

http://wowway.com/~grebbler/tutor/cdg.html

Im just trying to burn em on my laptop at the mo its a vaio. Not sure what make the writer is?

Its for playing on an actual karaoke machine which plays cdg's. But because its a christmas pressie its all wrapped up so i downloaded this to play em on the pc to see if they work...

http://www.karafun.com/download_en.html

I can play the files straight from my hard drive and there fine its just getting em on to a cd!!!!

I really thought that the method above was gonna work but no joy!

Help me please!!!!

Discs

If you want I can copy you some DVD's (should play on all DVD Players as they are actual dvd files not CDG). They're quite good (not really into Karaoke etc - its a surprise for the kids for Xmas along with a set of microphones)

4 for a tenner if thats any good to you (+ £2.50 P&P)
