| New PC!!!! Looking to buy a new pc in the near future but I'm not really up to speed on latest stuff etc. Basically the pc will be for general microsoft office usage. Also recording and digitising my tunes and burning discs etc. However, probably the most intensive thing I will want to do is upload and edit my digi camcorder footage - about 2/3 hours at a time max and then burning to DVD etc. Anyone any ideas about what spec system I should be going for? Presumably quite high as video footage eats memory doesn;t it??? Thanks in advance

| You'll be wanting at least an Athlon XP 3000+ with a Gig of RAM. Thats what mine is an it does video editing no probs. If your oop north get to bowlers for all your bits...or if your not into DIY theres an asian kid where ya first go in, does ones like that ready built for about £250.
