Some hardware questions......

Im needing to buy a TV card, a decent webcam, and a wifi (?) type internet connection sharing gizmo for my PC.

I think Ive sussed the TV card and the Webcam, but Im not sure what Im doing with the wireless broadband cos Im not particularly sure what exactly I need....

I have a BT Modem ADSL Voyager, that plugs into my USB port and my phone line extension upstairs in the house via those filter boxes you get. My father wants to share my Broadband connection when he is working at home and he uses a new Laptop with all the inbuilt wifi gubbins in it already.

It needs to span about 18 meters (?) or so at most so he can sit outside the house and use it if need be, be secure so my neighbours dont cream my connection etc etc. Ive seen some little boxes for about 60 quid for wireless networking, but something tells me this isnt what I need. I dont think I want it to work like a home network do i?.

Im hoping I dont need to buy a new modem or something, but Im not sure what I need to plug into my machine to create the field of connection, or what the proceedure is for setting it up.
