DVD burnin help plssssssssssss

recently my burns have all started to fail with an "unspecified target error" thingy after x% (last one got to 70 odd%).

I'm using a *ahem* cracked version of Nero 6

could it be that that's fooked or perhaps my discs are shite ?

Any ideas ? I know there's a load of variables in there but any hints would help...

Cheers fer yer help skippy

I'm using an IBM T42 lappy with an internal dvd/cd multi burner

I've searched IBM's site & have come across this

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si...cid=MIGR-57083

but it is supposed to be a floppy bootable thing but when I try n dl it comes up with some auto install java bollocks

Also I'm thinkin it's the discs I'm using coz I never had a prob with the ones I used before - just everying since using these (imation dvd r 8x 4.7g jobbies - cheap from Asda )

Thinkin I might get some new discs that are more robust... any recommendations ?
