Help Needed Urgently

i am on a brand new laptop running doom 3. It worked fine last night. Tonight when i try and start a new game or load saved game I get the blue screen of death and my pc restarts. This is most distressing considering it is a new alll thrills pc. pls help i am gutted

What is the spec of the laptop ?

How far into loading the game can you get before you get the blue screen?

Have you made any quick saves / saves in the game or are you at the begining ?

Have you got the latest drivers for your laptop / hardware?

When you run doom 3 have you killed off all un-essensial processes ie any antivirus, firewalls, explore, outlook etc etc so you only have system processes running in the back ground ?
