Anyone good with photoshop ?

Stooopid question time using photo shop & need to take a freehand cut from one jpeg & plant it on another... I know how to cut from the original jpeg but no idea how to past it onto the other jpeg...

select the cut out press "v" drag it over the other jpeg and drop it onto it.
