MSN Help

Since I changed from my pc to the mrs' laptop to save space my msn program has been bobbins.

Every time I launch Outlook Express it launches msn and signs me in automatically, which is fine most of the time, but it does it when I'm out and the mrs logs on....

I've looked in all the usual places to make sure all the automatic log ins are disabled and they are... . WTF can I do, if anything, to turn it off and stop it running everytime I check my email??

Also my msn window is bobbins compared to the previous one. I can no longer see my pictures in the right hand side for example, yet msn tells me I have the most up to date version...?

Sorry, I'm a total pc fuckwit. All help is greatly appreciated

Mart

Thats what I'd done tho fella. Unchecked everything that I could find including this that launches msn automatically, yet it still launches...

I reckon u were onto sommat in the other post about OE - I'm going to re-install both OE and msn I reckon and see if that helps the problem...

Cheers Cam...

You might want to try clicking START > Run - and then type msconfig, then on the STARTUP tab make sure you uncheck MSNMSGR

That should stop it auto launching

Sorry, LOL, I've just noticed it launched when you opened Outlook, not when you booted up...

No worries! - lol - all help is appreciated. Checked start up anyways, but its not there.

Reinstalled msn and it seems to be running ok - better than b4 with more options restored than I had last time so I'm happy!

Still launces with outlook tho - so I think the problem is with OE instead. Cheers all for the replies...!

MSN is a nightmare I think, used to give me no end of mither, so when I installed on this pc, I shifted the msn program out of its folder and put it in a folder named "I hate this fucking thing" and then windows couldn't find it

I then installed a program called Trillian, which lets you use MSN/Yahoo/ICQ/Aim/iRC all in 1 program, and haven't looked back
