| Quicky........lol Havent been in here for a while (pc is okay touch wood) .... ........one niggle I have with XP is I used to like 2000/98 internet browser as when you hovered over a link, it would display it in the bottom left corner of the browser. If you were on a dodgy chinese site, its all in chinese, you can hover over a link and still see 'DVD creator.zip' etc. as a filename rather than japanese/chinese text/hyperlink midpage. There is no bottom 'grey' bar on the winxp browser - how do you get it on? Cheers Sirius.      |

| Im on the micrsoft ie explorer version 6.02.......I got the updates a few months back as its a new computer, along with a zillion security updates on the same 'windows update' function....... Im more on about a feature I miss and dont know if its still present or not somehere on some options or something  It was a lower panel par on the bottom of the browser window, floating above the taskbar......it would display the full addy of a hyperlink and download file names on shortcuts etc - somebody must know what Im on about  . I just get my windows taskbar and a thin blue line 'edge' to the base of internet explorer rather than a band where the info would display. Im on WinXP pro now, the last time I saw it was on win2000 I used to run and win98 at work.Cheers Sirius. |
