Nah, seriously though, winamp is good, and as far as I know its not full of 'crap' you dont need either like spyware/adware and those 'toolbar' search things etc etc. I think its pretty clean. Theres no reason to not install it, but thats your m8's preference I suppose. It certainly beats the 'ET Phone Home' Windows Media Player 9 - unless you enjoy being tracked and not being able to play files properly.......

Just kiddin really bud, winamp is safe enough to install. If your m8 is bothered about it resetting the file associations I believe it lets you select on install.
