Comp expert/ engineer/ DJ Needed

All the best for 20004 everyone and hope you had a great christmas.

I want to know the easiest/cheapest way to do record from my decks / mixer. What can i buy to hook up to my mixer to record a wav/mp3 file to a disc or drive. MY decks / mixer are miles away from my PC so that is rules out unfortunately.

I am sure they must be like a drive / MP3 recorder i can plug into mixer to record to.

Trusting you guys.

Unfortunately if someone does help me out i shall be upping a mix of my favourite tunes, so i will understand if no one wants to help.

Thanks,

Spiely............

A minidisc walkman would probably be the best way to do it then record that into your pc ..

Portable mp3 player perhaps but the quality of the recording isnt usually that great with these from experience .

You would need a mini jack to 2 phono lead to connect from the MD to your mixer and depending on your soundcard it will probably be mini jack to mini jack on your line in on the card .
