what version of windows is it??? 98/XP

Whatever it shouldnt make any difference. follow these steps

1.turn computer off
2. turn back on whilst it loading keep pressing the f8 key, this should bring up a menu, at which point you choose boot into safe mode.
(windows will now load in spaz mode)
3.Run your virus scan program, which should now remove them all as nothing are running in memory.

Give it a try....
