Website Hosting

I need some impartial advice on hosting a website. I am totally NOT technically clued up at all and most sites I've browsed so far seem to me to be talking double-dutch. More frustrating is when you try to search for 'advice' it just throws up sites trying to flog you webspace.

I have no idea what I need and don't need and what I should have or should not have or how much its likely to cost etc, but here's some things I'm currently writing off-line...

A picture gallery from our hazydayz nights
Flyers from hazydayz
MP3 mixes (although not huge amounts like)
General text based info on events etc, plus guestbook and usual stuff

We also need the ability to reply to emails with (anyname)@hazydayz.com - (I can currently only receive them)

I am also toying with the idea of setting up a subscription or donation area too so may need a secure part where people can put in details and contribute via Paypal or sommat, but I've yet to read up on how I go about that....!

Please point us in the right direction....!!!!!

Ive just got 500MB from these people http://www.alojared.com owned by Internet People SL
for only 99 €uros, I know theyre a Spanish host but all their software and control panels work in 100% English so that wouldnt be an issue for you. Theyre fast and secure with no downtime guaranteed. Well worth thinking about. I was previously with easyspace but they were crap m8. Fully secure SSL and fully working SMTP mail for sending from anyone@anywhere.com and recieving from a catch all@domain.com, theyre also fairly leniant on mp3's

The guys that butty uses for OSA seem ok too, I'm sure he can tell you more about them.
