Sometime ago I installed an earlier version of Nimo and it shafted my machine or at least all the media players I had installed..

Unless its changed much there shouldn't be an app to launch as Nimo is just a fat bunch of codecs, just fire up Windows Media Player or Winamp and open the AVI you've got.

1st get media player classic (best player out imo) as it will open a dialog with a link to the codec you need if you dont have it, or install avicodec as it will give detailed info on the media file your trying to open (r-click the movie file after you've installed it and choose the avicodec option), its also worth getting ffdshow as thats used a lot nowadays.

LOL. Is there an uninstall for that Nimo job? I found the safest thing to do was use that app I posted the link to to work out what codec was required and then just install that specific codec.
