Hi

I use NTL for my broadband requirements, pretty much faultless.

Starting price is 17.99 per month. Not sure if it's available in your area, so check out the following page....

I would avoid AOL Broadband, but most people know to avoid AOL anyway!.

Good luck!.

Phil

I dont agree with the AOL statement

BT broadband is well unreliable round the fleetwood way and there no cable to most areas

I had to go AOL and i have better speeds than my blackpool mates on blueyonder and NTL

It works with MS Proxy Server and ISA Server to share the conection thorgh my pc network as well

I think it all depends on the area you live in really

Alan

Broadband

Dont agree either with the comment that AOL is not the best, as I have it at the minute and it is flawless completely compared to BT Broadband which cuts out after 1hour.

OK you pay £27.99 a month for AOL but you have to pay for quality.

I don't know anyone who uses BT broadband and gets cut off????

Pipex have been pretty good for me (www.pipex.net) I pay 23 quid a month and the only downtime has ever been due to BT faults.

I reckon it's probably worth you having a good read on http://www.adslguide.org.uk/ . It's pretty obvious that one ISP may be 10/10 for one area but for one reason or another they may appear to be shite somewhere else - I think on that site you should be able to work out who's good in your area. I've used BT for about 18 months and never had any problems whatsoever.
