Peer To Peer!!

Anybody know which is the best Peer To Peer software to use, i am told that Kazza or Morphius are the better ones but i don't know.......

To use for what ? I mean if its tunes youre after than as Johns_ar pointed out Soulseek is the way to go.

If on the otherhand you want games, apps, movies etc etc then reall the best option by a long way is Bit Torrent (http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html)
combined with www.suprnova.org for all your linkage needs

P.S Having just finished FIFA2004 and Silent Storm, I'm now downloading LOTR : Return of the king and Worms3D...ahh how I love Bit Torrent

if its mega quick ill use it to get warez for work on the monster connection

Depends on the sources available at any given time, for new stuff with a high demand it tends to be as quick as the line will allow, i.e Max bandwidth per given machine. So basically in most scenarios its the quickest youre gonna get

Cheers lads, tunes and apps really, never heard of that soul one though, however i did hear that somebody got feedback from their ISP for downloading dodgy gear, which was on this site somewhere.....

Just downloaded the BitTorrent installer myk, but when i installed it, it said installed succesfully, but where is it no sign of any new apps or icons etc, all i could find was a folder in programme files but no exe files in it, just dll files etc, Is it an extension or plugin for explorer or something...............appreciate any help

I don't think it has an actual GUI as such, it just starts downloading it properly when you click on a bit torrent file.

I have only used it a couple of times an aren't at home at the minute to check it out, so i might be wrong!

It's as nowthen said, just go to i.e www.suprnova.org and click any link it will automatically fire BT up for ya

Managed to get it going but not sure wether or not i should use it after looking through the suprnova forums, loads of people are getting letters from their ISP's about downloading dodgy files, i think you need something to hide your IP address while you are downloading or something, how do you go on?.....

You won't be able to hide your IP mate it's just not possible!! You'll just have to take the risk if you want the films etc.
