| Yup firewall and also... Read up on ebay hoaxes... If you ever get emails that look like they're from ebay asking you in any way to confirm your password - DON'T DO IT!!! I fell for one of these a while back, thankfully I realised before it was too late and managed to change all my passwords etc. They are very well done though, they replicate the ebay sign in page perfectly. BASTARDS!!! Good luck Paul, hope you get it sorted. |

| Yesterday morning I had an e-mail from ebay saying my card no was incorrect. I thought this was legit as I did have a new card issued since my last statement with a new expiry date. I have cancelled my credit card now and no transactions have gone thorugh. Funny thing is this staretd at midnight yesterday. Need to inform hotmail but can`t send an e-mail etc... ![]()

| I hope that it works out for you Pauly Like Mike says there are a lot of Ebay and Paypal hoax emails currently - apparently Ebay & Paypal will not send out emails asking for you to confirm info at all - Ifyou are not sure that you need to reply then sign in to your Ebay/Paypal account - if they have a message for you then it would appear then good luck |

| 'Kinell, bastards. I had 3 emails from "Ebay" last week, didn't do anything about them though, they wanted me to confirm my details and that. They were cleverer than just making the page look like ebay, it actually had Ebay in the URL somehow, like ebay5.ebaysomething or other.com. Good luck, hope you get it sorted dude.

| your better off having different passwords / user names for them rather than having the same one for each. If a hacker gets hold of 1 and there all the same, its playtime ! Ebay are usually good as they store IP addresses of users that change / use Ebay, I know cause the other week, I had to break into my mrs account to see what she was up too, I also changed her password to piss her off and to stop her buying / going on ebay till I was home. She got an email notification stating that the password had been changed ect and she got in contact and they had the IP address for work here. Cant trace it to me like without a shit load of effert on Cap's behalf so I cant see them bothering as I never did nothing on there, fkin spent enough as it is ! |
