help req'd playing clips/links

Hi,

I recently installed a load of codecs to try and watch Xmen2 on my pc (unsuccessfully), Winamp2.9, and a few other media type players..........now, when I want to play a clip off a weblink on here it just opens a new window and nothing happens. I used to be able to just click the hyperlink thing and it would load up media player straight away.....no new window or owt - bang - t'was reet there.

Whats wrong, and is there a easy fix? Its a ballache doing peeps track ID's now, infact Ive neglected it lately cos of the hassle.

Cheers

Sirius.

Is it the SVCD version sirius m8.If it`s an avi or DIVX you may not have the right codecs installed. There is a program called Gspot which tells you if you have the right codecs installed.

If it`s an SVCD you can play it in POWER dvd player for some reason windows media player 9 won`t play them.If it`s an avi it should play in your media player providing you have the right codecs installed. If you got it off kazaa there`s a codecs pack on there as well which also has something called BS player which should play it as well.

Hope this helps as i`ve fecked about so much to try and play movies which i`ve downloaded on me computer.

Cheers bud, Ill check em out. It says .MPG....but yeah, it is dodgy, lol. Nowt I tried worked, so you may have the ticket there.

That may solve my Video problem, but can anyone solve how to get Media Player to pick up the links in the TuneID section......
