my pc at home is shite, cant get on on line coz the modem is bust, so reckon its time for a new pc..

just been for a look at a pc shop and this is the specs i got>>
can someone tell me if this is ok?? or a rip off (coz he saw a blonde pc illiterate chic and thought he'd rip her off)

is it a brand name pc that 1 chick ie hewlett packard, packard bell etc etc. if so stay away coz there the devil.

try www.microdirect.co.uk there systems r pretty good and cheap i used to work for em

Thats overpriced hun. Ive just priced that up at about 710 and I'm talking euros

minx, if it's just for going online and doing a few essays then you'd be ok with something at half those specs..

but if you're skint now then i guess you may have to go for the buy now pay later option.

p.s can whole heartedly reccomend buyink from myk, got mine just last week and am well chuffed with it..

and neither does XP Pro... Word and Excel are part of MS OFFICE, not Windows......

Thanks for the vote of confidence Grad and Aydo. Unfortunately if Minxy is after paying in installments I can't really help as its an overseas operation. Still Minxy hun whatever you choose, make sure you don't buy anything untill youve posted the exact specs and price on here so you can atleast know if youre getting a good system at a fair price

If its just the modem bust on yer old one, Ive got a PCI broadband modem ere Ive been meanin to sell for a bit, I paid a nifty for it, an was gonna sell it for 30 dabs, but as its you, yer can have it for £40!! hehe! only jokin , yer can have it for £20.

only used it for 2 months as I moved house n got cable, If yer want a new set up all together I'd try an get a loan an see mick, rather than payin bad rates on a buy now pay later thingy.

An yer know yer gonna get the best stuff for tha best price.

either that or the boxes will be full of sand, he is from Wythenshawe after all

Stay away from namebrands Minxy hun, no Dell, no HP, no Compaq, no IBM....................all crappy and over priced, technical service is over priced too and did I mention theyre crappy and over priced :p
