| help a poor uni student! ummm its pc illiterate me again!!!!  :p i still havnt got on line at home yet  but i will soon, coz im totally cracking up with the uni computers.and just to stick the knife in, they hav upgraded to windows xp... and wiped off the msn messenger, ive tried to download it and it wont work, so has anyone got it in such a format that it can be emailed to me???? then i can access it from that. ive had to do that with it once before..  anyhow peeps, any ideas of help much appreciated

| lol I had the same problem yesterday hun, cos grad has just got a new comp with windows xp on it. I very much doubt you will be able to download anything on your uni computers, but you could have a go... you get it from www.msn.co.uk its on the right

| IVE TRIED ...... and failed.... it will not let me download the bugger, so no msn! arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr not good... coz its cheaper than ringing a bloody mobile! got to get on line at yam..... mission on now! but i av been sent the msn thing b4 via email and it worked.. any ideas?

| Ermm Messenger is already in XP. You can however update it to version 5.0 here : http://www.microsoft.com/windows/messenger/download.asp As far as the link youve put up Sweet, ermm thats not Microsoft Messenger XP, its actually MSN Messenger, a different ball game altogether.

| If ya have an email address other than hotmail minxy i can send ya messenger but hotmai will block it as its too big a file for them to cope with. I am gonna send that modem cable tomoz as i have been really busy and not had chance. Let me know anyways Software Andy:p

| andy, aye cud do with that cable please fella, hoping to get it fettled on friday..  yeah is msn messenger instant chat thingy that the uni hav got shot of, so yeah receving by email mite b the best solution, il pm u thanks everyone
