since the xp problems of the other day most people seemed to have including myself i have run the patch and have run my virus checker and i keep getting a note from the virus checker saying

c\System Volume Information\_restore{8bef0069-4dbe-44db-811f-f3fbb106e02f}\rp89\a0021807.exe

my comp says Worm/lolo in the above file but

this seems to be unknown as when i do a full virus check it isnt spotted.

How do i get out of this one without losing everything.

This is a bit risky but hey.... it's fun!

Start --> run ->> Then type regedit.

FIRST !!!!!!

File then save as!!!! This is a BACKUP AND VERY IMPORTANT!

Then search fro that thread and delete it... reboot and pray it works

Go to My PC->Properties->Sytem Restore, now turn of the restore function and reboot, this will clear all the stuff you have in "System Volume Information" now go back to My PC->Properties->Sytem Restore and turn it back on and reboot again. Viola! no more worm
