Vectra VL Pentium 2 266 video driver

ive had a look evrywhere but cant find a window me driver at all


anyone any ideas on where to find one?

Thats the HP "system" name, I need you to tell me the actual motherboard make and model (I presume the video is integrated as with most HP systems) and then I'll sort te driver out for you m8

To find the make and model of the motherboard, open the case and look somewhere between the PCI slots, it should be printed there.

Hmm I think the onboard video is "Cirrus Logic 5446" in which case Windows should have them in its database. Eitherway if you search for a drivers directly for "Cirrus Logic 5446" you'll find plenty.

P.S Im not 100% sure about this due to HP's naming system, I'd still like you to confirm which mobo/model you have. Or failing that the HP Product serial number would do the trick also

annoying

trouble is i was given the pc and the metallic strip with the model number, serial is unreadable..it aint been tamperd with as i could read it a year ago

now its been worn that much that i cant make out any part of it

Ill get you the info needed ..Its phoenix Bios anyway ..the only thing i can remember at the moment lol)


Its also deffo onboard video

Ill get ya the info tomorrow
if you can ..could you confirm that ME runs OK on it without ide patches etc

im getting frequent freezes on a new install of ME which is making me thinkof going back to 98se

I tried the cirrus logic driver that comes with windos me but it doesnt work


Im gonna look inside for info on the mothboard next lol
