Messenger

I am using msn messenger at home and for some reason my smileys have stopped working.

I cant use them and if any one uses one in a conversation my msn goes weird putting symbols after sentences.

I have tried re installing and that doesnt work. I have tried upgrading and that doesnt work.

Any ideas guys

there is an option in there tyhat says to enable smileys

Its not that mate. I have enabled them its just my comp doesnt show em when i try to use em and if anyone uses on towards me all i get is wierd symbols after the sentences.

it aint cos someone is using a different version of messenger is it?

like that doped up one that peeps had had different shortcuts for the smileys etc

Aye, I get that when I chat to someone using an older version that doesn't support the smileys. Or if the person you are talking to has a plugin like "messenger plus" then you'll see symbols instead of the smileys.
