| i was hoping it wasn't that... if it's knackered they look 'kin expensive to replace. do you reckon mines had it? it's not much of a problem at the moment but it could get a bit 'sticky' come the summer.. |

| We did a few Heater Matrixes when i was at halfords and believe me they are a real bitch to fit. Most if not all need you to take your dash board out like maddox said. Most of the mechanics ran a mile when one came in to be done. I hope for your sake its not that mate. You will be looking at a heavy labour price if thats the case. Not to mention the fact that when they put it back together they will be loads of screws that they probably cant remember where they went so you could be left with a rattling dashboard. Sorry for all the doom and gloom mate Andy

| I suppose it depends on what car it is fella... When I bought my ford escort a few years ago, it had the same problem. I looked in the passenger footwell and there was a wire thingy (!) which had become detached from a plastic wotsit (!). I put it back in and VOILA! It worked again... But then, it is a ford escort lol.. Good luck
