n e 1 know if u caan get a boot disk for the ps one so that u can play 'backups' (lol) or if u stil need to chip em to get em goin n if so where can u get chips from for em n the diagrams n r they harder to do than the old ps 1's coz i used to pull them out of my arse like they was goin out of fashion

You can get a plugmod or modchip for next to nothing. The plugmod sticks in the back of the ps1 like the game shark but you have to do the old insert a real disk then change to a copied one.

If you fancy your hand at soldering then you can buy a modchip online as well... but seeing the pics of your goodself then I reckon your hands shake like a mofo

Bootdisks are like the unicorn.. everyone knows about them but few people have seen them. I've been told that the only one that works is the PSXChange disk:

I doubt that you'll get it for free because you can't copy it... its pressed so that it fools PS copy protection.

lol funnily enuff fuggers i used to be the king at ps mod chippin, at the pc shop in manc where i used to work we used to chip em for people that came in n said a code word (lol) n e ways word got about n i was doin on average 20-30 a day my record was 54 once which im quite proud of made a packet doing it just had to share a bit with the boss to keep him sweet.

il get one of them n fire up the old trusty soldering iron altho u may b right it was back in the day when i used to do em when i was young agile and athletic and i might end up dribblin in it lol

o n that reminds me n all in a year of chippin ps's i never fucked a customers up then woody wanted his doin he asked me at the wrong time and id had a baileys n thought no problem, next minute the solderin iron went straight thru the board doh. ahh well it was only woody
