My (work) partner has just jumped ship, and he's done all the accounts for the alst 12 months on 'Sage Instant Accounts' or something...

I've not got a frikkin clue where to start, don't know anythiong about accounts whatsoever.

Mind you, I suppose if I was reading the manual, instead of reading the board, then it would be a good start.

Maddox, basically alls i wanna do is create payslips

say for example i put earnings of £25,000 in will it work out how much the tax will be if i put the code in and national insurance and all that?

It is fairly simple, if u have ur tax code u put in a basic earning plus ur tax code an a few more shitty deatails which the program will ask u for then it will work it all out for u,every stage if done slowly can be quite self explanitry,[color=skyblue]

i figured it out pretty much............

only problem that i got is that it wont work out the tax for me

or am i doing something wrong?
