here we go with the usual question i have xp and i want to rip vinyl i have my deck into my amp then how do i connect from the out of the amp to the puter to get a sound in ???

easy thing mate.

Grab a sound software. Then link up the headphone jack to your line in on the pooter

And there you go.....

i only have

deck into amp through phono > on amp i have aux,cd,tuner,tape deck playback and record out

which do i use to put into jack into puter ???

none of those...... you need to find a line out or a headphone jack

Ermmmmm don't use a headphone out, that'll probably sound crap.

I would go for the record out from your amp, that should give a nice line level output which can be connected to the line in (and definitely not the mic in) on your soundcard. Sorted!

still not workin i have 3 inputs in the the back of my comp

top - Green - speakers

Middle - blue - DONT KNOW ?????

Bottom - pink - comes from scart lead


Which do i use as input from the amp ????

what ya got a scart lead for?

they should have little symbols next to them - the pink is mic im pretty sure so try the blue one mate

also make sure u open the audio properties and uncheck the box where it says the line in sound is muted(default setting that is so dont forget!)

set up exactly how it says on the site but still nosound comin out of the puter my puter doesnt have any symbols next to the jacks just matched them when i set up

e.g pink to pink , green to green only one without blue ??
