| MSN mesenger experts........ Im on a roll here today!. Ive been trying to send an mp3 file to pacman and johnsar via Msn messenger but I keep getting an error saying its 'blocked' blah blah blah..... I thought it may be a firewall, as Im a Client on a network and we have to use WinProxy4 to allow internet connection sharing. however I transfered the mp3 to my bruvs PC and turned off winproxy and it still wouldnt go. Any ideas peeps? I recieved one OK, but cant seem to send...... Thanks Sirius.      |

| maybe the receipient has a firewall. I had this a few times and it took a whil to actually get ride of it. It took a mixture of firewall and connection thingy's XP is a murder for this as it has it's own internal firewall that blocks MSN  . Nail the internal firewall, and get the client ( ie paccers) to allow fll access through his firewall for MSN.....If that doesn't cure it, tell me

| Nah i know what ure on about Sirius fella and its a absolute fu**king nightmare. solution to this is not to use MSN to send files find summet else Paltalk and ICQ are very reliable ways to transfer files freely. MSN works out what conection your on and waits to the very last 200k of sending the file and fucks it off saying the effort is blocked. Its an absolute pisser. |

| Hmm, I aint got a firewall installed and I run using ME so it seems to be either a problem ya network sirius fella or more likely msn. Can ya get ICQ sorted and we can see if that roads an easier one to go down????

| Ive just got ICQ, and to be honest, its scary mary. The smallprint is enough to give anyone the Heebie Jeebies and I dont feel safe with it on first impressions...............anyway, Ive added you to the list (apparently) but what the fek you do to operate it is anyones guess, its very numb and clunky. I just hope my hdd doesnt get wiped clean or twenty million tons of unsolicted mail   |

| Check out the file transfer on it tho! well designed even if u disconnect u can resume so no more pissed off times like MSN! just use msn to chat wid and icq to transfer files what ever suits u sir. |
