Hardware Help !!

Guys,

I'm hoping that some of you may be able to help. I've just bought and installed an audigy2 soundcard. All works well with the exception being that I can't get the microphone to work.

After exhausting various options I have discovered that if I have the front bay installed then the "mic-in" on the rear of the card doesn't work. If I set the input source as "line2/mic2" then the various voice software I use resets it to "mic-in". The end result is that I can't use my mic which I really need.

Anyone come across this problem? I'm using WinXP SP1 and I couldn't find any updated drivers for the audigy2.

I've also just installed a ASUS GeForce4 graphics card. With the card I got some 3D glasses and when I try to use them I get the message "no monitor driver exists". So I phone up Fujitsu to ask for a driver for my monitor only to find out that its a plug and play monitor and requires no driver. They recommend that I install a standard SVGA driver, which I dutifully do with no success. They then recommended that I install the lastest nVidia drivers which I do... again doesn't help plus I get the added bonus of all my ASUS software dissappearing.

Anyone help?

long shot but i take it the glasses aint your usual cardboard ones...so could it be referring to the 'monitors' in the glasses..i take it you're plugging them into the pc? so they'll need a driver..

Thats a good point matey... never thought of that. The glasses do have two little monitors in them so you could be right. I'll check tonight and let you know.

My monitor needs to support a refresh rate of 120 and its only really 19" monitors or above that do this. I have a 17" monitor so I guess its time to upgrade
