I can e-mail u java for XP. -BUT- I think youre problem is derived for a small app that installs along with MS Office, if you have Office installed all you need to do is run a search on your hard drive and locate and exe file called mdm.exe then delete it.

It may sound drastic but believe me, I do this on all our machines after installing office (complete install) as mdm is none other than machine debug manager and basically just jumps and generates a small report and so forth of any minor issues found....basically its toss n bollocks so bin it

Yeah you need to hit alt-cntrl-del and find mdm on then list and finalise the blighter first before trying to delete it, you cant delete it if its in use...which it always is. Its in the processes tab list thingy.

Catch my drift ?

You could also try updating you Visual Basic runtime files...the latest are here I think : http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...VBRun60sp5.exe

That may help.

As far as MDM is concerned mate it was just the .exe you need to delete, unfortunately it didnt solve your issue, but youre still much better off without it anyway, so no harm done at all

What serials you mean ?

If you mean cracked/pirated software...try and keep it to PM's.
