pop up windows

Can any1 tell me where you can get one of them programmes for stopping the annoying popup menue's
preferably a free programme

I tend to use ie for the sites I know wont have pop ups and the mozilla browser for sites with pop ups.
Mozilla lets u stop windows re-sizing, opening etc and even has a plugin that can delete banner ads in sites and its free.
