    Neil J - Sequins Blackpool - March (ish) 1991

Right then. A real treat here. I'm so excited that this tape survived and one of my old mates had it!

This is the one tape that did my head in for years and was the after club tape everyone loved. For me this is the holy grail of old skool tapes! A perfect mix up of Italian piano and Balearic with some awesome scratching.

It starts with Sasha's MFI mix and the 2nd one is Shaboo Trance on the B-Side.

Anyone got any ideas on the unknowns.

I've got Neil Jackson added on facebook and sent him the links. Will be interesting to see if he remembers the unknowns.

The 2nd ID has a funny cheesy vocal moment but that break part is quality.

I just got a message off Neil Jackson on facebook and he confirmed this defo wasn't him on the mix...

Now I am confused. Only other person I can think of here is Sasha. Both sides start with Sasha remixes and the scratching is spot on also.

Some very 'Sasha-esque' tunes on there (STILL not listened to this set ) but did Sasha ever play Sequins ?

The reason I was thinking Sasha was due to how well the tape was put together and the scratching... The other issue is that I don't know if this is actually Sequins.

The guy I got this tape from had a box of tapes from 90-91. He used to go to Sequins every week back in the day. I kind of assumed that the tape was made by one of the residents there but now I'm not sure on that.

The only thing I know 100% this tape had written on was 'Neil tape 3'. I guess that doesn't mean anything tho.

Barrie J or Jonno will probably know who this was I would imagine.

Wasn't it Green Bins who did Sequins on a Saturday? Possibly John Jepson? God knows, its so long ago, where did I put my Mixmags
