| bugged out @ sankeys 13.03.09 Me and Debs went last night and it was mad as fk! dj sets from: aeroplane (which will be the highlight for me!) popof thomas von party dekker live: proxy No idea who was on when and that as everything just blends into everything haha Pretty sure Aeroplane were on first as a warm up as they weren't billed on the tickets at all but Debs had seen on their facebook that they were playing sankeys last night so we got tickets mainly to see them, I rang and confirmed and yep they were on ![]() Played some nice stuff in the early stages and one that jumped out was Max Berlin - Elle et Moioi (Joakim remix) - quality strings and warmth Dunno who was on after that but it went minimal and then electro/tech-house for a bit and some nice twisty stuff with an ace acid track that was gated and chopped up, wish I'd have taken phone as I'd have got clips of it. Only other tune I recognised was Syclops - Monkey Puss Apart from the Neon lights in there (too bright lol) and it could have been a lot louder, sure it used to be before the refurb, it was top atmosphere, rammed to the point ya couldn't move much, busiest I've ever seen sankeys. Kids today tho, bet its harder for them than it was us back in the day hearing stuff you liked and want to get the next day "whats the one that goes wurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr biip bap burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" haha no chance And everyone was always on a mission to get somewhere in there, just fkin stand where ya are and dance you fkrs lol Remember thinking Pauly, Shooms & Danny would have loved it, proper twisted stuff

Good review, I read it when I saw you'd mentioned Proxy. I bought this a couple of years ago. YouTube - Proxy - Destroy Not much relevance to most on here until 3:37 in. I'm not a big fan of these electro remakes but think this is one of the better ones. |

| I was there that night. Yup, Aeroplane were on, but they were upstairs in Spektrum and played the 2-4am headline slot after Dekker. It was a cracking night up there. |
