| errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm! thamks to everyone. cano n saysay for the warmup, nuffin but proper tunes. thanks to slaggymong for the vibes, mr calder n cartouche for the support n sully n danny for sortin( sort of lol) the whole thing! big respwct to the greyhead n all the old ravers for making it down to the scubar. Damo.

| i'll stick a proper review in the review section but just a quick note to thank cano and say say for warming up, damo b and danny c for the assistance, jay wearden for his quality set and mr calder, slaggymongy, rich and jamie and missus for the entertainment....... top night had by all, not one person under 30 lol

| Top night and rockin hippo's tunes, its been a long time since I heard those tunes in a club plus great to see meet up and see some faces from 15+ years ago... glad to see we can still do it.... Respect to you all...

| Got there about 9:40 and met Slaggy outside who I failed to recognise at first give the state I was in last time we met  Rolled downstairs to catch Trace and Cano on the turntable who were playing some good tuna. Jay came on next and he started to build up into a big old school set of techno breaks and hardcore, top stuff indeed and got me rocking  in between bouts of tune iding Nice one fella got some top id's Damo on next around midnight - playing alongside Sully who kept the momentum going and the floor rocking. Top stuff chaps  Always a pleasure to meet Trace and Neil, Damo and Cartouche and top to see the man come Highland fling specialist, Andy , plus Lisa, Danny and a few others that I met Had a top night, so thanks chaps

| it was a quality night from the start, all DJ's playin quality tunes and an appreciative crowd (mostly 30+) with no attitudes. good to see some people i aint seen for nearly 16 years (!) since the hippodrome closed, top atmosphere all night. respect to dean wellard (not on osa) for turning up with his original clash membership card lol not somet you'd do very often but defo worth doing again at some point in the future....... cheers again to jay, damo and danny......

| Had a great time. Really like that venue. Was awesome to hear all of those tunes on a good system. Most of that stuff I had only ever heard on a battered old mix tape from back in the day. Some of the stuff was ruthless man, breakbeats and basslines were hurting me. Abit too hard for my friend though. Was a real pleasure meeting new friends off the board, looking forward to seeing you all again. I lost a black jacket in there so any finders PM me. Easy now! |
