| Right here goes (as always i just now im gonna 4get someone so im sorry in advance) Got there early with Mr Raddish and had a few beers upstairs; came down for the start of Welly's set which was absoloutley fookin class. What a top bloke even played Asmo jam the dance for me at the end of his set which gave me a nice warm feeling  Some great tunes and blinding scratching.Mr ben played another very strong set some good tuneage and class mixing fair play. Unfortunatley i then only hered about 20 mins of Ste Huxley's set as the missis is on the old antibiotics so we left at about 12.15 (what a pair of lightweights  ) but what i heard was sounding good.I was a bit surprised not to see a few more people not quite as busy as id expected but a decent number never the less. Big hellos to.... The ganja man top geezer (hope you enjoyed ya refreshers  ) Tricky Nicky and your fella; NIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCSSSSSSS; TC; Miss say say; Mr ben top bloke great to meet ya; Pepe le pew and your missis; Woody; Cano; Butty (thanks for ma keyring  ) Jiglo.I know i 4got someone? Anyway thanks i enjoyed it hopefully we can last the distance for in my house I would be interested to hear how the rest ov the night was.... Also i think someone said the sets were being recorded i hope so some belters.   Here are a few piccys....

| I'm shattered. Missioned it all the way back to South London this morning and am feeling it now......  T'was a belting doo though, well worth the trip up Shout outs to shoomie, shabbs, cano, miss saysay, big, adj, ben, nics, pepe le pew, butty, sonz, mr ben, tall paul, ste hux, woody, tc, northern star, jaxxy, ed, jen joker, tigs, soda julesy, mart, viks, cartouche, streetboy, (hate doing this coz i know i'm bound to forget someone! apologies if so, please dont take offence )mart's set was the perfect start..... loadsa baleric classics which were sweeeet on the ears  welly next, who was bob on. as stated, warehouse classics throughout..... starting with the final word and finishing with asmo, with some proper toooons in between. next up were mr ben who follwed on perfectly, keepin the underground vibe going with some old techno belters such as spectrum and ezeee posse next up was ste who had the crowd rockin as per, and got the biggest cheer of the night for mixing in frank de wulf's - the tape..... go on lad TP, to say he hadnt touched a pair of decks for nearly 2 years until last night, got off to a flyer.... and did a belting mash-up of young mc and void - no stoppin.... you wouldnt of thought it would have of worked, but it did and sounded great top set which flowed nicely throughout shifting from piano toons, to breakbeat and more proggy classic oldskool - nice. I finished off, and apart from both my headphone ear-muffs snapping off everything went pretty well...... that is until the last tune when sumet fell on the decks (i think) causing all kinds of unessary banter! Really enjoyed it though..... and getting to play both prince and disco citizens out, and having people buzz off em that much proper made my day nice one for coming down everyone..... see yas at the next one

| i can just about see ,cant sleep/eat/toke, just like the good ole dayz it was a top nite all the dj's were bang'in but my hat go's off to MR BEN ,keep it coming i met sum 1st class folks, a massive thanks to NICS(for meeting us brummies)/SHABBA(4 the chill bac)/WAYNOOOO(cheers 4 the sweets, if your in brum i'll get ya me egg special)/MR RADISH(4 falling though a door )/SHOOMS(even though he had a cardboard cut out of my wife lol)/ and all the rest of the mad ed's who was there who made me feel welcome thanks will see u at the next 1      p.s .... a big ello to butty (cheers 4 the keyring)saysay/cano/woody/northernstar/trickynicky/T.C

| i had a really fab night last night so just want to say it was fantastic to see a lot of you again. shoomie (pleasure as always, lol), ganjaduke, northernstar and shabba, jiglo (hi hun) saysay and cano, butty, sonz, pepe le pew and fifi  , woody and TC, Nics and trickynicky and streetboy (what a right laugh  ) tall paul, joker jen and her beau, and everyone else who was there that ive forgotten (sorry!) ill remember when it all comes back to me later lol the sets were awesome as always - the music had me jumping around all night - thanks for a fantastic night  heres a few piccis

| Well here we are . . . . Monday morning. It's somehow always worse the day after the day after! Saturday. . . Top night. Respect to all the DJ's as ever for playing some great tunes. However, I will give a big up to Mr Ben for 3 reasons. 1. Having won the OSA competition. . .had to follow Welly! Warren does not do nerves! 2. Played a blinding set. 3. Is probably the best non-guitarist I have ever heard, having entertained Chez Shabba for hours by singing and hitting the guitar, There may have been a token cord at some point. LEGEND! Greatly enjoyed meeting the Lovely Vickles, who I must say was wearing a very sophisticated line in eye makeup! Marcus, Debs and Dave. . . .fab to meet you all, that beer is a must. Shabba, thanks for the hospitality mate! Shooms hope you had a good kip mate. Nicky and Cartouche, Ganga and his crew, Pepe & Mrs (Sarah?), Jiglo, Jaxxy, TC & Woody, Cano & Sayay, Tall Paul, Stu Hux, Nics, Wayne & Emma, Slaggy Mong, Str33T, Sonz and of course Butty! My foot in mouth moment of the night. . . . . .. . . . . ."who are you, what's your name mate, are you on the forum???" ... . . "Butty .. . . . I am the forum". Oh if the ground could have ate me alive! Sorry mate, we did meet at easter! Respect to all, Thanks.

| in the words of si........wicked night!! met up with some strange brummie randoms ....ganjaduke flave and lol, top lads up for a night of merriment and oldskool.........i think they got it headed off to scubar nice n early to get a few beers in and get on it!!missed most of marts set due to waiting about upstairs and not realising it was open.......maybe due to butty arriving safhionably late as per  wellys set was good, some class tunes played...........and then the comp winner Mr Ben graced the decks and played a fekkin blinder of a set, each n every tune went down a storm and seamless mixing too everybody loved it think it was big poppa hux that came on next n played a realy good set, some tunes ive not heard out for ages mr paul of the tall variety good to see ya ont decks again, class tunes n looked like you had a ball up there then danny R, absolutly fantasctic set, tune of the night for me was prince - when doves cry.....had everybody rocking top to see a few people ive not seen in aaaaaaaages, debs joker tall paul n dave (kennnnnnnnn) ste hux n jo jiglo nicky n cartouche saysay n cano butty n sonz shabba shooms and the newest osa member the cardy cutout streetboy n missdeedz pepe n fifi and jaxxy soz if ive forgot peeps...u know what its like big up to the hostess with the mostess shabba....cheers for having all us randoms back to yours, we had a ball.......mr ben you my son are a complete legend for your quality guitaring and singalong............morning has broken will never be the same again after a mission to liverpool i finaly landed back in manc at daft oclock and collapsed in to bed

| Well im kind of back in the land of living (just) Had a fab night out! Was great to see you all as i havnt been out in a while! hopefully youll see us out n about a lil more now Big up to all the djs who kept the tunes flowing all night some great stuff being played! Wazza well chuffed you pulled it off but hey we knew you would do m8 - good on ya! was quality meeting some peeps ive not met before.......Mr Radish (chris) top top guy and yep will defo sort that beer out Ganja m8 nice to see ya! Tricky nicky and cartouche hope to see ya both again and Ed at last we meet lol was a bit lost for words lol And the usual suspects me julie (jen) and pete! jaxxi, shabbs, shooms, trace and neil, iain and sue, woody and tc, butty n sonz (cheers for my key ring i love it) jigs, danny n gang, tall paul and mad head dave, nics n vickles, jo and ste (really must sort something out with you guys!!!! pepe n sarah lovey to see ya both good to see tigger, soda and mart too! and everyone else who made the night a good one! just goes to show its not the quantity of the people there its all about the quality of the peeps !!!! think it seemed a lil quiet downstairs tho cus of us were upstairs chain smoking all night lol  Hope to see yas all again real soon ! forgotten how much id missed yas all Last edited by Northern Star : 30th July 2007 at 01:58 PM. |

| Got in to Manchester and had a quick pint with Danny and his mates, had a bt of a laugh before heading to Scubar. The smoking ban meant that half the time half the people were outside smoking bifters, this smoking ban is weird. Really enjoyed meeting new peeps, Say say and Cano was great to meet you (will get up for the next My house after this one if I can, get yourselves down to the Smoke!), Vickles, very exciting and smelled nice, Streetboy (top lad, we need to get everyone down here for a do) Ganja duke (top midlands possee), TC and Nothern Star, just remember making you laugh about us both being tall and everyone else being under nourished..... Great to see Tall Paul, Dr Hux, Shooms, Shabbacus, Nics, Sonz and Butty and Mart, thanks again for the lift, hope you got back safe and sound. Missed half of Marts set from jangling upstairs (doh), but what I did hear was great. Had never heard Welly before but he was quality, loads of hip house in there and some quality scratching as well. Mr Ben was up next, great start to the set and rocked it all the way through, including Progen, which Ihaven't head played out for donkeys. TP up next, great stuff then Ste (was pissed by this stage, but was dancing) and Danny finished it off, built his set up nicely, a few people thought he wasn't going to play and old skool, but he held his nerve and built it up and rocked the place with When doves cry. Hope everyone recorded the sets and has tracklistings, the music was great and there were loads I didn't recognise. Anyway enjoyed it, hope everyone else did. Woke up the next day without a hangover, which at my age is a prper result Hope I didn't miss anyone out. There were loads there I didn't get chance to talk to, next time gadget!!!
