Was ace to meet the Brummie crew (Duke & the boys)

Was also ace to see people I hadn't seen for yonks (Ian / Deedzie / Huxtable & Jo & especially Jaxxy )

Shout to Wazza for his set - yer hands were shaking like a shitting greyhound with Parkinsons but you pulled it out the bag mate That set best be recorded

In fact the tunes were bob on all night but I reckon the smoking ban has ruined clubland lol

The impression was that the place was half empty (it wasn't - everyone was just outside having a bifter & a chinwag).

If it's gonna be that empty I'm gonna have to bring more of me birds out & slap em on the dancefloor

Talking of which many many fanks to Shabba for my bday pressies She loved her night out I drove back home with her in the passenger seat too LOL I did feel like one of those sad wronguns with their wipe-clean dolls mind

Apologies to the crashback crew for dropping early but I was ill Nics... you normally I'd never fall asleep on you - Wazza soz for falling asleep on your watch God I needed that kip though.

Got there early coz we had to bring Buttys decks. lol. Was nice to have a chat with everyone before goin downstairs.

Mart played a mellow as flip set which was getting us off to a good start, although a few din't hear much due to being upstairs.
I loved Welly's set-mint scratching too!
Mr ben, hats off to ya, you played a mint set & you must've been nervous as flip so .
Poppa Hux got the house well and truely rockin, this has to be one of the best sets of the night!
Tall Paul, another blinder from you! Kept the pace goin!
DannyR-another stand out set for me, along with hux. Mint tunes & just proper got everyone not only rockin but curious as to what some of his tunes were!

The sound was better this time with Jules' speakers so noice one Jules.

Nice to see everyone (everyone has already named names! soz-i'm lazy!) & sorry to anyone who I didn't introduce myself to!

Well done to Butty for puttin such a fab night on & thanks to all the DJs for the entertainment!

what a night !!!!

got picked up by jiglo about 9ish and made our way down to manc to find an unusually large group hanging around outside the door .... i dont even smoke that much and this ban is seriously pissing me off, got so say that it really did diminish the numbers inside and make it look like there was less there than there really was

anyway said hello to the usual crowd , made my way inside for a much needed bevvy and headed downstairs to catch mart playing some quality tunage as usual ...........

next up was welly who really did make it look so easy , but thats what they say about masters of thier feilds and he is certainly that ......

next up was moi ...... and i really want to say a big thanks to everyone who helped me enjoy that hour as much as i did , and i mean that .... the amount of encouragement i got was unbelievable and goes to show what this board is all about ..... i could really feel people wanting me to do well and i hope you all loved it as much as i did got to say the response while i was on and afterwards was amazing, so again big thanks to everyone....

next up was hux who wasted no time getting into his usual groove and tall paul who says he aint been on his decks for years .... both played blinding sets .....

and last but not least danny who rounded the night off superbly with some class tunes ( cant believe they killed mr windle half way through lol )

so thats that ......well almost


only those at chez shabbas will know what followed and i think its best left that way lol
