Ace night

Respect to the crew i already know , and big how doos to the newbies i met , buzz , geeza , slaggymong , silkys bro & mate , wayne , mr radish , lottie , marty , tankygirl , tony ross & two brothers pete orme and tother

All sets were minta than a treebor xtra strong

Special to tracy and woody for different reasons tracy cause it was only second time you have played out and you did fckin ace & woody as you aint been at it that long either and also played a minta

Some fav tunes from the night

Mister dj - lco & cindy - undercover & some ace ace monie love (i think) track

Saysay - bad boy orchestra - hip hop salsa & fleetwood mac

Moggy - de lite - wild times & renagade soundwave

Ste h - r & d department - energise & carnival da casa

Woody - d shake - techno trance & black box - i dont know

Pluto - peas and beans & c concept - why did you do that

Real good vibe in there and plenty crowd cheers and shape throwing to certain tunes Loved it when pluto dropped peas n beans me tracy and silky all singing away to it at top of our voices

Nice one to tony for the tunes , much appreciated mate had a little chuckle to me self int corner when there was steve williams , tony ross , barrie jay , moggy , pete orme (awesome 3) , it was like the whos who of the oldskool scene

Well in all that came and shame on you who didnt

I am SOOOOO looking forward to hearing Woodys set....Black Box-I dont know anybody else, playing that tune deserves the leg-end title in itself, imo i dont think this tune gets the respect/listens it deserves. One of my all time faves. ever. 1st heard on a bowlers tape made in aug 96 or 95, first time i heard it (i 1st heard it in about 98 ), i cried. seriously, it got me in a place i hadnt felt/been to in a while, remember it clear as day. i borrowed the tape from someone at work, i put it on, sat next to my speakers and it came on. i had goose bumps all over, the hairs on the back of my neck were on end, then the tears came, not many tunes have done that to me, so imo its one of the best nice ostrich for playing it woody cant wait to hear it

An excellent night!!!!

I do believe there's a picture flying about which would seem to show me in a state of mashedness??? All I can say in my defence is that I wasn't ready for the shot at thet point!!!

It was fookin mint to meet all of you that I did speak to, and the atmosphere was great.

Only one person seemed a little "off-ish" with me, but I'll address that on an individual basis.........I think he was mashed too..........maybe I imagined it??

Saysay, Cano, Woody, Buzz (Nutter), Tim, Wayne, Butty (younger than I was expecting), Lottie (Fook off), TC (nobhead), Cartouche, Tricky Nicky, Jiglo, .......and the rest of you..........all top people and great to meet ya.

Special mention to Cano and Woody again..........really great lads and top friendliness!!!

Right..........I'm off to find the picture!!!!

My review is so fashionably late it has to buy tammies every month...

Absolutely wicked night - great to see so many smiley, up for it faces Wicked to see the usual suspects plus some long lost friends from the PR/Scaaaaaaas crew and also to meet some ace new peeps (& a few mad bastards... no names *cough* Buzz *cough* )

Missed Marts set due to Shabba insisting we drink like bastards on 17% rum cider but as soon as I walked in saw the delectable & petite Saysay rockin the gaff with a cheeky smile n a wicked acid version of Can U Dance \o/ I knew it was gonna go off

All DJ's played for the crowd & there was summat for everyone... highlights for me were

Saysay - Can U Dance, Hip hop salsa, Big love
Moggy - The phantom, You're my one & only true love
Woody - Techno Trance \o/ \o/ I love that tune !!!!
Ste H - DJ H DMC mix, Acts of Madmen !!!! (did you also play DBM ??)
Mick / Ploots / Grover / Scaaaaaas get - missed you lots mate Wicked set - especially Nightwriters... \o/ special moment had by all to that un, Song of Life & Come Home

Wicked night Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeespek' due to Woody for organising, DJ's for playing with passion & everyone who was there for faaaaarkin avin it

Betty Speggy - you owe you a dance at the next one you blouser
