JOY 7th Oct with JOEY BELTRAM

Ill start this thread just to say thanx to anyone who made it to this one, which for me was one of the best Joys in history, joey beltram was just amazing!!! i am still lost for words..
I cant get over the energy in that place, absolutly packed out and it was one out one in at one point in the evening, the crowd were just so up for this. the manager and even some of the door staff were rocking to the tunes as was Steve luigi who wasnt even playing Sat night!!!! highlight was at the very end when Beltram teased the crowd with my copy of Energy flash, starting it then stoppin it right before it kicked in, obviously the crowd were going mental with shouts and screems like we were in 1992, when he finally let it go it was just.....well it was just mental!, folk hanging from the balconys etc, i cant explain how mad this was and as joey told me he would never play energy flash these days it meant alot to me that he did for me.... i know he is gonna read this so a massive thanx to you Joey!!

Jon da silva also played the best set iv ever heard him play, EVER, as he left the venue all he could say was "Brad i love it here, i cant say no more!!" this was a special night.
Far too many people to mention on here who i met but respect to;
Ponka and Sullys bro for makin the trip over, its always good to see you guys
also nice to meet Lou Lou, was nice spending a little time with you getting to know you a little better on Sunday night in leeds..( i hope the day at work went quickly for you!!! hehe)
also shouts to "go on" helen (hehehehehehehehehehe)
and obviously Fox, caine, chris walker etc..
Massive massive thanx to Joeys cool mates who made the trip also, deffo will be visiting you guys in new york next year as planned

the new venue really is perfect for us, apart from the drips of water from the roof!! haha

Top crowd, awesome music and a really memorable night.

Anyone who missed this will get the chance next year when Joey has asked to return...

and no the 10 hours at work dragged, i only just got in less than an hour ago

anyway, well done to you and ste for puttin on a really good night, everyone seemed to have a brill night, spesh the people dancin on the balcony.
Techno/electro aint really my cup of tea usually but had a good night.

Joeys mates were all sound too, after speakin to em on sunday night, and i hope that video footage gets edited lol

Their was one other funny thing i must mention from this weekend (memory coming back now),the singing guitar man in Leeds, who we saw sat night where he chased tots and sunday nite where he was following Lou lou hahahahahahaha AWESOME!!! so so funny

Yeah it was a quality night this one... Jon Da Silva's set was superb one of the best I've heard, I can't really remember kells and tots's set as i was a bit worse for wear but i seem to remember dancing a lot so it must have been good.....

Joey Beltram well what can I say his set was absolutely first class, everything was spot on and he made it all look so easy.. superb...

Shout to Antz and Lou Lou nice to see ya's again, Caine thanks for the hospitality dude, Brad nice to see you again mate, Tot's and Helen and Chris17 nice to finally meet you mate...

the venue looks really nice now inside but the only problem really was the size of the toilets could do with being a little bit bigger but apart from that spot on.......

Ah now then, will write a proper review when iv got some more time as am a little busy at the mo, but I can say what a top day/night errr weekend that was.

The new venue works much better then the full venue and had loads of energy, couldn’t stop laughing all night as there was some crazy shit going on ha ha

It reminded me a little when I was back in nam as there where a few people throwing some crazy arse shapes about and pulling a few war faces ha ha

Nice to see all the old faces, being awhile and to meet some new ones…….

Also another thing antz hasnt mentioned (shows how bad he was lol), theres mirrors covering one wall of the club, so ant was sat talking to some-one, full blow conversation, only to realise it was himself talking to the mirror

Other people thought the club was bigger and tried dodging people to get past em, when they were actually dodging themselves! hehe

Yes i saw a few folk walk into the mirrors, but talking to yourself takes first prize hahahahahahahahahaa

and since that weekend iv seen the guitar man round leeds about 6 times, saw him on Sat afternoon complaining to someone about having his hair cut and they had made a mess of it, the guitar was strapped to his back... funny guy
