LUV2LUV - Wigan - April 2006

Got into wigan at 8 ish and got into the club. Straight upstairs to get ready for me n woody playin the first 2 hours.

Had a reet buzz!!! Playin some early italo building up to the big monsters. Got a good reaction from the crowd too

The club at this point was filling up nicely! Up on the dex next was cano playing again lots of big italo, which got ppl fully on the dancefloor ya dint get derry hall in tho mate but still a blinding set mate

The club was now rammed and it was getting ded hot!!! Everyone was well enjoying themselves as tune after tune got played

On after cano was biskit, he pretty much took over from where cano left his set . . . each tune out doing the last ppl could deffo see they were in for a good time.

At this point in the night i was pretty wired lol and couldn't really make out the other sets that got played, due to general chit chat to the likes of VA, Sy and zoneraver.

Apart from the set of the night (just on tunage values) had to be Birthday Boy Barrie Jays!!!!

He has got some serious tunage and they were all out to play!!! his record box must have been worth thousands, lol. Playing beeeeasts like Emily Heyl, Soulmasters, Jill sanders . . . every tune was just pure listening pleasure

Reet thats the music covered (well what i heard and i remember, lol) so onto the crowd

Was a full packed out crowd with ppl still coming in reet up till bout 2 ish, good turn out of OSAers (cheers for the support guys n gals )

All in all the night was a success, i reckon this night will do well and become well known and a regular night out for everyone.

Well done to the Luv2Luv team . . . chris/neil keep up the good work guys your deffo onto a winner here

My first proper old skool night experience! Really loved it....although I must say I could only fully sing along to a few tunes.....Just thought i'd say it was really fun! Hope everyone else who went felt the same. Took loads of pics too!

I cant hear fack all.Top night though ,shout 2 everyone who was there.I think I need 2 play earlier next time,I was well pissed by the time I got on the decks so appologies as it was hardly my best set ever but I'll make up 4 it next time.Big shout 2 everyone I chatted 2 and Baz Todd wot a nice bloke.Thanx 2 Biskit and Cano 4 da set and a big shout 2 carebear,Simmy,Nic and Tracy.Would love 2 stay and chat but I cant remember how 2 so I'll try again later.Lol.

what a top night good to meet all the osa crew that was there, woody, sy69, baz j, super dan, steve rh, butty, s-j, simmy (me old mate from skool) miss sayay, miss cola, god man im rackin mi brain now... sorry it aint workin rIght soz if ive missed any 1 mi ears are still ringin at 17:45 the next day, class sets and toons from all the djs as ever. The club was better than I thought it would be and deffo niel and criss are on to a winner here.
Good to see that there are still loads of eds still into the tunes that have been in my life for so long now.
cant wait till the next night but I hope my hearing is back to normal soon!!!

I got there about 3:30am and the bouncers said it was £5 to get in instead of the £3 it said on the flyer Cano spotted me and charged me £3

Went upstairs and everybody looked too wrecked to dance lol. Most of the OSA meetup crew must have already gone home at this point Luckily Trace with her unlimited energy helped me out on the dancefloor and then Beaker a bit later on I stayed about a hour or so but I wasn't really feeling it and there was nobody new to meet so I left about 4:40.

I heard it was a really good night earlier though so everybody must have peaked well before I got there

Enjoyed the night, but had to leave early, because my mate was too wrecked.

Didn't see anyone I could have thought that was off here, except Saysay, whom I saw at the bar and recognised from her profile picture.

Thanks to all who came to kick off the start of LUV2LUV in Wigan, the night was a total success, over 800 people passed thru the doors.

The music, DJ's, atmosphere, and most importantly the people were amazing

Must apollogise to the people who did not get in, due to the club being packed, the club capacity is only 800 people.

The next Wigan LUV2LUV allnighter do is on the 28th May 'Bank Holiday Sunday', will hopefully see alot of you's there again for another exciting night

If you cant wait that long, then LUV2LUV is @ the Abyss in Chorley on the 12th May with Guest DJ's Sy69 & Tim G (AATW Records) and the LUV2LUV D.Js

Well, now that I have sort of recovered.

What a good night that was - congratulations to Biskit and Cano that all your hard work and enthusiasm paid off big style - a full club and such a good atmosphere has certainly put Luv2Luv firmly on the clubbing agenda as not to be missed.

Thanks, as always, for being a part of it and what better way to spend a birthday in the excellent company of all the OSA crowd. A fully signed birthday card and a bottle a champers put the icing on the cake.

Talking of cakes Sal got one made in the design of a Technics deck. It is so special I haven`t eaten any of it yet as I don`t want to spoil it.

Anyway, got in the club in time to hear Cano and Biskit, as usual quality tunage. Baz Todd, although he is a digital DJ played some good tunes too and manged to hear Ste Huxley before my cocoa and slippers called me home.

I cannot think of anything else to say except it was just a top night with top tunes in the company of some top people.

What a wicked nite me n dan started with some slow funky stuff, nenah cherry buffalo stance, marrs pump up the volume, mariah carey someday, kariya let me love you for tonight, dionne come get my lovin, tendance i cant take it, nitelite cityrama runnin so hard, djs rule, get into the music, c bounce, marika lenny etc etc...was some of the stuff i played, complimenting dans early italo beasties loved every minute of it, and what a cool view from the DJ box thanks to all at Luv2Luv for having us on hopefully this is the start of something massive for yas

big thanks to all our lot, we really appreciate your support and (on behalf of me n supergran) hope we did yas proud but be on time next time big shouts to all the OSA massive, finky nice to meet ya dood ! star man and anyone else i may have forgotted due to my pissedness lol

Popped down to this after the Legends do, for another suprise suprise act and nearly everyone had gone Wish we hadnt spent so much time trying to find the place 'cos we were to spannered to read the map!

Fantastic to see those OSAers who were left though , even if it was only briefly - needed to let Dave get the car back home.

Yeah it was dead good this one, me n beaker got there about 10:30 and it was nice n full with a good atmosphere and I thought, yep this is gonna be a good night. Loads of OSA there, good to see everyone , Im sure I even saw Tall Paul and I thought he was in the Amazon at the moment lol, had a word with him and this Tall Paul lookalikee is on holiday in the UK currently touring Wigan!! hahah lol that was funny, top to see you m8. That was funny as well with saysay n sy69 with sy69 doing the middle man negotiations and me getting hardly owt back and him a pocket full of dosh lol, but nice one trace n cano and also to woody , music was top notch all night, my set went well, got off about 4:30 or summat, thanks to Jo for driving and being ace company as usual

This was a TOP night, totally didnt expect it to be as rammed as it was !! Proper quality night, all the dj's played fantastic tunes all night long, i remember Biskit playing Numero Uno and the crowd went bloody wild, everybody singing there hearts out, gimmie goosebumps.

LOL @ the gymnastics women who decided to do handstands and forward rolls on the stage at the beggining of the night, haha! .... and to Biskit who walked and fell into the stage, lmao!

Was great to see a huge OSA turnout, nice one!

Hello to Sonias friend, and oh dear as well because i remember you taking loads of piccies and by that time i was well n truly and the piccies were just daft, lol!

It was lovely meeting Mrs Fink im sorry i cant remember your name, i remember me calling you mrs fink in the loos , hehe.... anyway, your lovely, we had a good boogie too, look forward to seeing you again at the chorley do.

There was loads of funny things that happened but as i was fooked for most of the night i cant remember alot of them, Dannster - i remember laughin me head of on the stairs near the dancefloor with ya but im fooked if i can recall why! haha!!

had an ace night for the bit of time i did stay, got there about 9 ish n left about 1 ish, had loads to do on the monday so i couldnt play out ded late

good to meet all the regular faces as per and was nice to meet miss cola again, sorry if i came across as a grimp but you got me at a wrong moment, some blurt jumped off the stairs and rugby tackled some poor guy and the drinks went all over me n kee they didnt move off my feet in a hurry either.

Sunday night what a great turn out it was i just cant believe how busy it got, never in a million years would i think it would get that rammed me n chris had been going nearly every week at one point and at the most there was 30 peeps in, so a massive well done to Chris, neil n john.

The choons were rocking and the atmosphere was excellent!!
