Gt September 2005!!!

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

What a bloody enjoyable w/e.....started off at bar rumba for just_dannys leavin doo, got there bout 2pm...all had a bash onth' dex and waited for ppl to arrive

They did just that, overall a good turn out from all set of the afternoon camr from biggie....lol, who started his set with HIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE!!! from top gun

By 9ish the beer was takin full effect so of i went on to the kube klub to get the tunes pumpin....(wasn't aware i was gonna be playin so had to use some of ben and dannys tunes )

Music was mint all nite, not really any sort of line up just a few of us takin it in turns, which worked quite well tbh!!!

Was all up for dancin to eddys set, but mr osborne decided it would be a good idea to get fucked before his set so asked if i would go back 2 back just in case he couldn't handle it....lol

BUT!!!

i ended up standing there for the whole hour so didnt end up dancin to it or helpin,lol.

The set of the nite for me came from CANO absolutely blindin italo set, i couldn't see and could hardly stand by this point...lol, but danced my ass off the whole way thru it

4am came and it was time to leave to join the mash up and what a mash up it was

Played the most funniest game of - 'ON MY WAY INTO SPACE, IT OOK WITH ME...' with VA who was entertaining to say the least

Am sure the video will be up soon....you will piss yaself when ya watch it.

Good to see everyone that attended, you know who you are.....and milenko!!! bout time ya got yaself out!!!

Well thats it.....the last GT review till next year but am sure time will fly so lots of fun can be had again at this mint club

O My god, anyone who missed this, this one fantastic w.end

Got there with Joker & Fastreggie about 6.30pm and the tequila beers started flowing. dont really remember much about the party after my 5th bottel, but whatever it was it was awsome (The chap that runs Bar Rumba is one top chap, and has created an awsome appnosphear ther )

GT once again i have to addmit ws a bit of a blur for me also, its coming back in bits at a time, so i will have to get back to you on that one lol. and double

Right.....the mash up..

Think i started to get my mind back at around 4 am, when the following of my best moments Happend.......

1) Taxi home with Vee, Danny and my good self, Random chat about Bob -a-job Hobbits, Gerbils, Gerbili and Jibbly, Hob Job Center, and other mad moments im trying to remember

2) Where did you come from,

3) The half an hour journy with VA from Bens to Biggies in Wakefeild to pick up Debbs and Biggie, a trip that should have taken no longer than 30mins. But, ended up taking 5 hours, because me and VA got so into our discusions on music, Tea A team lists, and the reason why people have made it on there, The diffrence between "The Sheperds Arms pub and the The Nelsons Arms" on our pubblic house direction route and pictures for the tea list, that we ended up driving up and down this road about 20 times, not even remembering what we came out for in the first place,

4) Eddys fear of Baked Beans.......we still got to spill the beans on that one Ben lol

5) "When I went to space, i took with me" VA man, ive never laughed so much in my life. Your inability to remember, or even recognise the word "winet" was a moment to tresure, dont think ive ever seen you so fo@ked, i almost blew my ribbs out laughing

6) My Jaxxel Rose moment in drag Think i would rather forget that one

7) Missing my train and not leaving until 12.15am Monday Morning

8) Danny awarding "Fragile" stickers to everyone, and wearing them with pride

so many more memories.....best ever mash up......non will beat this

Thanks once again to Mr Fishhead for his unbeaterble mash ups. and for making GT the best night out in the world. I sit ever twitching with anticipation for its safe return

Yes yes yes... another top weekend there Ben!!! Shame it's the last this year but I'm sure something will fill the gap till the revival.

Well all in all it was a top weekend I say again.. my head is still a bit up my arse due to not getting home till 5 in the morn then havin to get up for work at 7 but I must say the w.e. was a pretty chilled one and I felt alright for the day... why does a recovery not fully start till the Tuesday or Wednesday??? maybe I'm not gettin hammered enough - take more shit then ya don't come down till the next weekend and by that time your back on it?! hmmmm... not a bad idea.

Had a brilliant day/night/day/night couldnt of asked for anythin better cumin back from ibiza, payin for it now tho lol, rhumba was mint, good to catch up with some peeps had a good drinkathon! Ste's flasher well did for me lol Wicked sets from everyone. I wonder just how much 1000's of pounds were worth of records in the bar, scary thought. GT's was ace learnt a very important lesson that I cant take pills, coke and get pissed then Dj lol. Would of loved to of heard cano's set but had to borrow va's car keys and chill in there lol. Back at bens was quality and oh my god the special stuff is ace. After managing to stop rollin around, i just couldnt stop laughin at va, that game danny is genius and so is the video i took lol need to get that upped. Thanks everyone for an amazin weekend and to ben for the maddest/best 3 years of my life.

Got to bar rumba fashionably late in the evening sometime, nice little place that, played about 3 records cos there was loads of DJs wanting a go, some nice tunes being played, the wrist sweat bands were awesome as was the birds arse from the bird who was giving them out!

Went to GT soon after it opened I think me and cano busted some funky hosue to warm up then banged the basslines out, bit quiet at 1st but then it soon filled up to an alright level and the atmos was rocking Im sad its ended now but lifes like that

Caught canos set which I enjoyed a lot, then I think I went to retros and had burger and chips on the way and had a sleep!, going bed to sleep is the new mashup lol

Nice 1 to main man dannst for driving, hope the birthday girl had a good night, and the other birthday girl butty did too

Was a mint night , enjoyed the bar rhumba , got a nice vibe going on there , and the flasher that steh played - oooooof what a tune . Headed over to gts for 1030 , where me n steh played another enjoyable b2b funky first then onto the bassline . Ventured upstairs had a boogie for a bit and played 2 -3 which i really enjoyed , got to finally play 2 lux + prime time out . All in all a good night again , tiz a shame its had to end , but pastures new and all that looking forward to see whats in store for next year . Big thanks to ben for everything this year n last
