wicked night

Firstly, thanks to DodgyScouser and Dreamgirl for their hospitality before and after Hazy. I keep saying it, but Scousers make you feel very welcome. Oh, and JoJo for clearing up.... no sooner than you'd put a mug down than it would be whisked off to the kitchen. Hehe.

Great to see a few online regulars making the trip to visit Hazy... what an excellent atmosphere as usual. Hello to Stuss, LeeFantazia, Old Skool Al... great to see Regi out n about and a return to the fore for Joker who's been elsewhere for the last two I think. Shout to Mousemaid, surprised to see her there. Greets to Shaz, who made it after not feeling to great earlier in the week. I think I was introduced to a number of others who's names escape me - sorry. I really was taken away by the music on Saturday night (errr, you know what I mean), I danced from 9.30-3 non stop. Can't remember sitting down all that much.

Another indicator of success is the power of recall on a Monday morning...in this person's case (ie: me). Not particulary great. Hehehe, by the looks of most of the crowd tho, I think there's a few peeps who are gonna be a bit Hazy this week.

Jeffers did not disappoint, dropping the classics he knew would get the crowd fired up. All of downstairs was chocca. At one point I went for a breather and caught some of Tags set. Shaun also played a blinder - upstairs was heaving at that point I remember. I know that Dreamgirl also played a wicked set - didn't stop making shapes with Happ33, but cannae remember any choons. Can't believe I missed Mart playing Chip E Like This, was only talking about that on Sat morning.

Once again, a great weekend...if a little rough on Sunday.

See you next month.

PS: shout to the air traffic controllers in Brussels for delaying the flight back to Dam last night. Cheers.

What an amazing night Great to see hazy back on top form and really busy too

Wasnt feeling too great when I first got there, so apologies to anyone who thought I was a bit rude I just needed to sort my head out for a bit, so went and hid upstairs to my darling pauly

Cant remember much of what was played before Marshall came on! But when Marshall hit the decks the place went mad! That was classic tho when he looked like he couldnt mix! And Mart your face was a picture!! But got to say that was a top start to a set

Was great to be back on the stage again (Ive missed it) and was proud to be Marshalls marshall for you Mart even tho I felt a bit guilty telling people to leave him alone

But Ive got to say what a top guy Felt dead honoured that he asked me what I thought of his new tunes he was really sweet and charming and very patient with everyone hassling him for photos and signing things The guy was an absolute star And Ive got to gloat a bit here lol but he made my night when I asked him if he had enjoyed himself and would he come back and do it again and his reply was if you wear that outfit again I'll deffo come back!!!!!!!

Marshall Jefferson The Godfather of House flirted with me!!!!!!! Lolololol!

Highlights of the night for me were, apart from the flirting

BJ saying he needed to take pics for iding Marshalls tunes, then realising that he could just ask him!!!
The 2 girls who hassled Marshall for pics with headfones on, then casually asked him 'whats your name btw!!' And he just replied 'Marshall!!!' Absolute class!
The thought of Marshall shopping in HMV for his 3 for £15 tunes!! lol
Being back on the stage again
And taking loads of pics and videos with BJ's camera (cheers BJ - I would have felt all lost without a camera)

Was great to see loads of people out spesh Al and Konspiracy (its been too long) And was ace to see Fast Regi

All in all a fantastic night and was one of the best hazys ever

Thanks to Mart and Grover for making it happen, you should be really proud

Thumbs up

Only my second time at Hazy - but my god what a blinder - Marshall Jefferson was outstanding

Great to see a DJ enjoying their set and the atmosphere of the club.

Nice catching up with peeps i met last time i was there, only bad thing was having to drive - had to keep my wits about me, but made it home safely.

Nice to meet AL - if u need a lift, and I'm driving we can work something out.

Thanks to the HAZYDAYZ team for putting on such an excellent night.

Cant wait to see the pictures from the night !!

Will see u all again - next month !!

That was the best Hazy I've been to!!

Marshall 'Daddy Cool' Jefferson was out of this world and was such a nice fella, he proper buzzed off the crowd and was really chilled when everyone was going up for photos and autographs.
Was great to see so many of the regulars in there, massive respect to those that travel from far and wide to go to Hazy..the place wouldn't be the same without yas
I was only upstairs for a wee while and heard a bit of Marts set but then I stayed downstairs and didn't stop dancin all night. I managed to get soaked by the mystery water thrower and ended up looking like a drowned rat/tramps arse on smack ..but I didn't care becuase the night was that good. It was boss, well good and mint all in one
The atmosphere in Hazy was so luved up and happy and you just don't get that anywhere else
Shouts to everyone I met on the night..too many to name but you are all fandabydozytastic
Special mention and thanks to afterparty host 1 SJ and afterparty hosts 2 Lozzie and Vee and all that attended in particular VA who entertained me with his tales of killer roosters

DJ Pluton , Mart and the rest of the Hazy crew, thank you for such a fantastic night and Mike thanks for 'Teardrops' (I think by Womack and Womack) at the end

What can you say about our mate Jeffers ... he was totally amazing. He was the most genuine guy and didnt even freak when he was greeting by some looney scouser who litterally strangled hugged him at the door and then led him through the crowd to the stage

I can honestly say ive never met a producer who was able to transfer the emotion in a record as Marshall did .... especially when he did the plane with his arms and the eyes closed smile as he did to Its Alright. It moved me and I'm glad I was there to see and experience it. It was more for me than just Marshall being there, he bought something to hazy that no one else has ever done ... that house is feeling

I wanna thank Mick for allowing me to play downstairs on that night. I will remember it forever.

Big shouts to Vertigo - your set was great

Also to Tag and Shaun who did a great job upstairs and thanks to all the oo oo's for laibach

Its still not sinking in.... I might get over it in a few years time.

Absolutely superb night! Hazy back at its best

Everybody was well up for this one, the place had a real buzz to it all night. The whole place was going mad from start to finish, love it when you hear the crowd screaming when tunes get dropped

Got there a bit late so missed Annie's set, good set by Vertigo as always, I was buzzin upstairs and down a bit at this point 'cos it was already so hot downstairs. Then Marshall was on, must admit I thought he was doing a dodgy mix for his opening too until I realised what he was upto with the pitch shifter thingy lol. Then straight into Reachin really enjoyed his set, was good to see him enjoying it so much too, singing away, seemed like a really nice fella. He was so cool that he didn't even break a sweat even tho it was 120deg in there. Fantastic set from Mart and Mick too, loved the Mia Cara tune - not heard that before, superb - first thing I did when got into work this morning was order one of them.

Where the fek did Shannine get that drum from??

Big thankyou to all the Hazy and OSA crew for a unforgettable night

Top sets by mart n annie n vertigo had the crowd well up and avin it! That love on love tune was a beast, just ordered one off Gemm, cheers for the ID dreamgirl

What can i say about the man himself, ultra cool personified
started with my favourite tune ever, phase II reachin, and i knew from then on, it was gonna be something special big respect to the guy for being so down to earth with everyone and buzzin off the crowd! easty take note - THAT is what you call a LEGEND!!! played some mint tunes, couldnt tell ya what some of em were but they were farkin gooooooood
and mick finished the nite off in usual faultless styleee proper boss

great to see everyone out in force this month big thanks to the drivers and the mashup hostess's and the entertainment on sunday fantastic weekend all round same again next month if u please

Reading that just sent shivers down my spine and put goosebumps all over my legs!

Sums up everything about Marshall and Saturday at Hazy

A true legend that thoroughly deserves his Godfather of House status

When you getting him back?!
