A great night was had on saturday. After drinking all day in the garden me and a mate jibbed upto to bar rumba to catch Danny_R LOL playing a nice chilled warm up set in there. That bar as real potential as its well situated and in the nice weather theres not better than drinking outside listening to class tunes.

Then off to kube to catch "yes again" Danny_R playing yet another warm up set with a much bigger piano vibe. God knows how he had enough tunes to play for 4 hrs lol. Great set danny.

There was'nt the usual number of us lot there as some where ta silverstone and others at beba but still a good turn out non the less.

Great to see the usual crew like ben, ste, cano, danny, vee, lozzie, lil'sonz, va, eddie, chez, jaxxy, debs and jaxxys mate.

Also great to see lord paul of tallness And also great to see a brief appearance from pixie, macky and crew

Decided last miniute to jib to bens for a well deserved mashup so BIG thanks to Tall Paul for coming back for me. Appreciated bud.

Had a right laugh at bens, been a while since i have done that. Thought i would take advantage while i have no football over the summer.

Was supposed to get back in the morning for a training session but that went out of window along with dj'ing at rumba that afternoon.

Would have loved to have joined in the fun on sunday but i needed a straight head after the previous nights activities lol

Plus someone had to sober to drive home

Also great to see jenwah make a brief appearance

Looking forward to the next one when we will have a bigger turnout and even more fun.

Stayed for another half an hour thru paul h's set playin some reet belters.....technoage and mcp....noiceeeee

Then it was time to join the ever so loved mash up where things got messy as usual!!!...he he he (photos will follow soon )

Well I've been looking forward to this weekend for a while... Jaxxy finally had a sunday off work... time to get hammered!!!

Started the eve at Jaxxy's, ditched the car and started drinking... we jumped on the train and headed into Wakefield

Bar Rumba? Most impressed. was lovely sat outside in the sun with a beer and good friends!

We headed to GT early and made our way swiftly downstirs to Cano playing his funky set!

Spent the rest of the night milling around... got my bag searched (luck was on my side though! ) Sorry Tallus Paulus..

After the night we managed to get a lift of Danny R.. top mate. Only met ya on Friday and you seemed to be everywhere this weekend!

Back at Ben's was another round of madness and frivolity.

Always great to see all the folks there. No names needed...

Well Sunday morn thanks to the one called BJ, Jax and I wolfed down a tab each and headed off for a walk. I somehow decided that I wanted a bow and arrow set making which I got and worked like a charm... Most impressed douggie!!! But what followed will defo live down as one of my best ever, maddest things done. We built a wigwam not just a small one..... oh no this one was about 8 feet tall... and made some video's of cowboys and indians... got some footage but will need to sort my head out enough to put it up so not yet! Jax has got the best of the vids though!!!!

The rest of the day was pretty chilled with the ever present tinge of madness. Bout 5 Me, Jax and Douggie headed back over to York where we had some more goodies waiting... The rest of the night was spent chatting about whether the world was created when you were born and died when you died?! with a bonus of seeing Jimmeney Cricket - he wasn't a very good conscience though... BOO and the maddest grinning Shrek I've ever seen... Good bless cartoons...

Finally got bed at about 6 then up and ready to drive home by ten... AGH this afternoon was undoubtably the hardest afternoon at work in my life! But the weekend made it all worth while.

So cheers to Ben and Jax for your excellent hospitality!!!

Just thought I'd add my little piece, GT was ace, had to go up with Tall Paul (cheers f't lift by the way), Cano and Ste H (thanks for the hospitality and wine earlier ) coz Lozzie was at work. Still, even tho I had a gr8 nite and an even better Sunday (the park was a little hot and i was burnin so we had to go!!!) Hope U like ur hair Chez and Debs (next time maybe wen we'v got clippers I'll B able 2 do Danny and Eddys) cant w8 till next GT (aug) and the one after that will B my 1just after my 18th so roll on Sept GT (hahahaha) much fun o be had I'm sure!!!

Well first off id like to thank all those that played there part in Saturdays Goodtimes , both at the pre club bar and after at the Kube . . .

Big Up to the man like DANNY R , for his 1st appearance at the new monthly warm up down at Bar rumba , got there just after 8 to find ya spinnin some serious house classics , while we all sat around outside drinkin in the nice weather !!! a perfect way to start your night !! think its gonna be a good regular thing ( spec wen its nice weather ) And he didnt stop there as i asked him if he wanted to warm the decks up @ Goodtimes proper for the 1st hour , and he did a reet job looking forward to hearing more of you matey

Thanks to all the other djs that played ( some playin extended sets ) Ste Huxley & Cano ( for rockin downstairs in true bassline style , you two got it sorted down there , Paul H , Fabi , Eddy , Little Sam , Maddox and Old skooler ( top set btw not often ya get to hear two diff djs drop def la desh on the same night !! i was gonna say id played it already but u had it dropped in b4 i could say so , it still went off wen dropped again tho !! lol )

Was a good night overall , even tho i left early ( gave myself a early finish for the 1st time in ages . . lol ) as wanted to get back home and get into the after party mood !!!

After party was class as usual , lol big up to all that attended , cant mention you all , but you know who you all are !!!

nice to see the few faces i saw from this site,arrived ten mins b4 my set n left straight after,its a long drive at that hour back to blackpool.
i liked the club,shame about the needle fekin up on me,when the tunes went low obv everyone fekt off,so wasnt the greatest of sets ive played.
my first trip to gt since the move,and it brought it home for me,real shame bout that place getting closed down.(indigo)

by the way has anybody got a few spare flyers from this night (9th) i could have,pretty please,i like to collect em n didnt get one!!

Had a wicked night! was a bit nackered by the time it got to 5am tho! altho eddy played some rockin tunes that kept me goin till the end.

club was so rammed downstairs, was a mint atmosphere ste cano n fabi's sets got a right audience!

aftersesh was alot of fun as usual thanx sonz 4 the haircut, i'm surprised u managed to do it and i managed to stay still the state we were in!! i've just styled it now n it looks fab darlin thanx again

think the next ones right b4 my bday so theres another excuse 4 a partaaay

Loved every minute of saturday, t'was a right day and proper buzzed shit loads Played for just under 4 hours on the trott and it was mint as! Got to warm up nicely with some of the older downtempto baleric stuff before slippin' in loads of old italian and house beeatches, followed by an oldskool set at Gts which was mint as foook and seemed to get things goin' nicely Cheers ben again for all the deck action

Mint night at Gts and the afterparty was bang on as always, even if i was a little tired Cheers to andy for the drive home, and nice one to pix for bringin macky, hope he can get to the next one Shout outs to the usuals, and nice to see tall paul - wishin you all the best for the future and your travels mate
