WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!!

Stee's first attempt at helping to organise a night went rather well.....if I do say so myself!

Much respect to the DJ's who turned up, (Butty, Recca, Chris Bant, Stu Allan, and my homie (y'all) Si Kelsall.)
Fuckin MINT night.

The tunes were mint, and the atmosphere was amazing.

wooooohoooooooooo, had a fucking blinding night, stee what a quality event mate i well enjoyed it and a very , very good first night

atmosphere was top and not a spot of mither all night, nice one to see dannster and soda jules out butty and recca top sets and i asked stu allan if he does his own pots (stee thats a tenner you owe me )

chris bant had everybody rocking at the end of the night turning his set a little trancy

stu allan doing his usual set and butty and recca b2b were tops

cant wait till the next night it`ll be a corker

Quality nite! Brought a couple of sceptics over from Manc ("We're going Macclesfield??!!!") who were well impressed and deffo up for the next one.

Thought that pair of warmup DJs were pretty good... didn't catch their names.

Right, I'll do a proper review now I'm back in the real world.....

Night started off pretty hectic, with Si Kelsall getting all stressed out having to run around like a fucking madman picking people up.....Si went on the decks and played a minter of a set, then I went on and did OK, apart from one fuck up that I got all stressed out over and had a strop. Managed to chuck in a couple of tunes that only arrived that day, so that was nice. Finished my set with Mix Factory - Take Me Away (XTC Come Hard Mix)...how fucking good is that tune?!

Then Butty and Recca did a fucking mint back to back set. Loads of anthems and piano's. Nice. Then as Stu Allan was about to go on the decks, Milenko asked him the most random question of all time....."Stu, do you do your own pots?" Cue Stu Allan looking rather confused and answering...."Err...no I have a dishwasher....." (I owe Mel a tenner because I bet him he wouldn't ask him....) Is this a new Milenko thing? Asking star DJ's random as fuck questions? "So Sasha, did you get your name from a cat?" "Slipmatt, what came first, you or the felt thing that goes on decks?" Etc.
Stu Allan did a usual mint set of mid-nineties anthems.
Then Chris Bant played a top trancey set to round off the night.

Afterwards we all piled back to Nics gaff for a mashup. I got as far as the hallway and jibbed into the spare bedroom, and slept. All the way through. Lightweight, aren't I?!

All in all, it was a minter of a night, and thanks to everyone who came out, and made it such a success. Nice to see a few OSA'ers out and about as well.

what an excellent night i was a bit messy to say the least

I think this has got to be the best night so far down at Beba, bit quiet to start off with but a steady flow of peeps, and then all of a sudden it was rammed.................did i blink and miss something??

a quality set from si who played some reet belters and stee who managed to chuck in a few of me cheeky faves its always a pleasure to hear you to play

butty and recca, quality B2B from you to, some reet good tunage from the pair of ya also nice to see you both make an apperance at Beba

Stu allen, typical set realy but some good tunage all the same

Chris Bant, never heard him before but was a wicked set and he played some good tunes and turned it a bit trancey and had everybody rocking

Good to see some of the osa'ers out to play, soda jules and pj pannster also was good to meet Beaker..........i didnt know who you was until right at the end of the night even tho i started waffling to ya hope ya had a wicked night

also good to see mel not hurt himself or sustain any injuries for once altho that scaffolding was a bit touch n go for a minute
